Extruder welding (extrusion welding) is a high-efficiency and operator-friendly method used for joining thermoplastic materials such as HDPE, PP, PVDF.
Thanks to portable hand-held extruders; strong single-piece seams are achieved in very different jobs such as HDPE tank manufacturing, chemical storage, air ducts, pipe & fittings repairs, geomembrane detail welds.

WORKING PRINCIPLE (2-ZONE HEAT + SCREW FEED)

Extruder welding machine;

  • Prepares surfaces for welding with preheating (hot air)

  • Melts the welding rod inside the screw-fed extrusion block and presses it to the nozzle

  • Lays the melt seam on the welding line with special tip/nozzle and joins it with top pressure pads

A stable heat profile is maintained according to material type with dual-zone heat control (air heater + mass heater) and closed-loop sensors; this means homogeneous seam and clean surface.
