INDUSTRIAL TANKS
Tanks for chemical, process, storage, or mixing purposes are among the most important equipment in industrial facilities. As PİLSAN, we offer long-lasting, safe, and leak-proof solutions against different chemicals, temperatures, and mechanical loads with our industrial tanks produced from PP, HDPE, and PVC materials.
With our engineering experience gained over the years, we approach each tank not just as a container, but as a system where chemical behavior, pressure conditions, and process requirements are evaluated together. We design and produce all our tanks in accordance with EN 12573, DVS 2205, and ISO 9001 standards.

DESIGN AND ENGINEERING

Each tank design is subjected to separate engineering analysis according to its purpose of use:
  • Chemical component analysis (acid, base, solvent type)

  • Operating temperature and pressure

  • Mechanical loads (hydrostatic, wind, seismic effects)

  • Installation location (open/closed area, sun/radiation effect)

  • Operating mode (fixed level, continuous mixing, pressurized filling)

Based on this data, material type, plate thicknesses, reinforcement plates, weld type, and support structure are determined. All tanks are modeled in a 3D CAD environment and calculated with static strength analysis (FEA) if necessary.

PRODUCTION AND QUALITY CONTROL

All our tanks are produced by certified welding operators in accordance with DVS 2207-1/11 welding procedures. After welding, tanks undergo the following tests:

Visual weld inspection (VT)

Leak-proof test (vacuum and hydrostatic test)

Dimensional measurement control

Surface quality examination

After complete leak-proofing is ensured at welded connection points, tank surfaces are finished with UV-resistant coating or color pigment (RAL coded) if desired. Carrier feet, supports, or steel frame sections of tanks are protected with anti-corrosion epoxy paint or PP coating.

INSTALLATION INTEGRATION

All our tanks are prepared to be fully integrated with the process in the field:
  • Filling lines, level sensors, overflow pipes, sampling points

  • Level indicator (magnetic or ultrasonic)

  • Ventilation line and discharge valves

  • Safety valve and pressure balancing line

  • All tanks can be connected to the system line with PP or HDPE welded connection adapters. This significantly reduces installation time and maintenance costs compared to concrete, steel, or fiberglass tanks.
