Access, control, and maintenance points in underground infrastructure systems; ventilation and gas discharge systems; control units in wastewater and drainage lines are of critical importance. As PİLSAN, we manufacture manholes, stacks, and inspection chambers from PP, HDPE, and PVC materials, offering corrosion-resistant, lightweight, leak-proof, and long-lasting infrastructure solutions.
Unlike traditional reinforced concrete or metal manholes and inspection chambers, our plastic manufacturing provides advantages in terms of chemical resistance, lightness, and ease of installation. Especially in aggressive wastewater environments, chemical facilities, and seawater applications, they serve for many years without requiring maintenance.

PRODUCT TYPES AND FEATURES

MANHOLE
Manholes are access, control, maintenance, and direction change points in underground pipe lines. PİLSAN manholes are produced from PP or HDPE material, in single-piece or modular structure. They stand out with high load resistance, leak-proofing, and easy installation features.
  • Diameter range from Ø315 mm to Ø2000 mm

STACK
Stacks are used for ventilation, gas discharge, smoke exhaust, and process gas transmission in industrial facilities. Our stacks produced from PP or HDPE material provide chemical resistance, lightness, and ease of installation. Especially in environments with corrosive gases, they are much more long-lasting compared to metal stacks.

INSPECTION CHAMBER
Inspection chambers are line junction points, direction changes, and maintenance access points in wastewater and drainage systems. PİLSAN inspection chambers are specially designed and produced from PP or HDPE material according to project requirements. Thanks to their leak-proof connections and corrosion resistance, they operate trouble-free for many years.

DESIGN AND ENGINEERING

Each manhole, stack, and inspection chamber project is designed with engineering calculations, taking into account the purpose of use, load conditions, and environmental factors. Optimum sizing is achieved by performing static analysis, ground loads, traffic loads, and hydraulic calculations.
Design criteria:

  • Hydraulic capacity calculations (flow rate, velocity, pressure loss)

  • Material selection (chemical environment, temperature, UV resistance)

PRODUCTION AND ASSEMBLY

All manhole, stack, and inspection chamber manufacturing is produced with welding techniques in accordance with DVS 2207-1/11 standards. Each product is manufactured in accordance with project specifications through CNC-controlled cutting, precise measurement, and quality control processes.

In the assembly phase, ground preparation, level adjustment, and connection operations are performed by our experienced assembly teams. All connections undergo leak-proof testing, and the assembly report is delivered to the customer along with the project file.
