Pipeline systems are one of the most critical and challenging elements of an infrastructure project. As PİLSAN, we have successfully designed and implemented hundreds of kilometers of drinking water, wastewater, seawater, process water and similar lines in different sectors for years.
For us, a pipeline project is not just about connecting pipes, but a complex system design that considers geography, hydrology, fluid and engineering as a whole. Therefore, we start every job with a detailed planning process. Route determination, topographic mapping, soil surveys, hydraulic calculations and environmental impact analyses are carried out completely.

MODERN TECHNOLOGIES

We eliminate error margins by bringing modern technologies to the field: The route is determined digitally with GPS-based coordination and high-precision topographic measurements. Existing infrastructure and terrain profiles are digitally modeled with LIDAR 3D laser scanning technology. This data is transferred to the computer environment in the design phase and lines are aligned in 3D CAD environment, eliminating possible errors before even going to the field.

SAFE SOLUTIONS IN CHALLENGING FIELD CONDITIONS

In our projects, we usually encounter open terrain, challenging ground conditions and different geographical obstacles. Whether it's transmission lines kilometers long, mountain passes, or stream and river crossings - our engineering solutions are ready for each one.
  • We proceed without damaging infrastructure and protecting the environment by using horizontal directional drilling or steel casing pipe crossing methods under roads, railways or settlements

  • Optimum solution is selected with steel, HDPE or GRP pipes according to ground conditions

  • Line safety is guaranteed by using ballasted line systems, anchored connections and anti-float measures in stream and river crossings

  • In sloping or mountainous regions, expansion calculations, soil pressure resistances and protection systems against hydraulic shock are evaluated specifically for the project

WIDE DIAMETER RANGE AND HIGH EXPERTISE

We can manufacture and install pipeline systems of every scale up to 2500 mm diameter. Among the materials we use are HDPE (PE100), GRP, stainless steel, carbon steel, ductile cast iron and reinforced concrete pipes.
All welding operations are performed by certified welding operators in accordance with DVS 2207, EN 12201 and ISO 21307 standards. Hydrostatic tests, leak tests and pressure resistance checks are performed after welding to ensure that the line meets all safety requirements before commissioning.
Our field quality control processes are conducted openly to international audits. Every weld, every connection, every test is digitally recorded. Thus, when the project is completed, not only a working line but also a fully traceable system with all stages documented is delivered.

ENVIRONMENTALLY SENSITIVE, LONG-LASTING LINES

Minimizing environmental impact is our top priority during the design and implementation of all our pipeline systems. Criteria such as soil recovery in excavation areas, ecosystem protection in stream crossings, and prevention of intervention in groundwater are always taken into account. In addition, operating costs are minimized with energy efficiency, low-friction line design and long-lasting material selection in our projects.
